About the role
Role Overview
Frontend TypeScript Developer (AI Training) Use your TypeScript expertise to review and guide AI-generated frontend code so it achieves strong type safety, scalability, and modern architecture. This is a fully remote, flexible hourly contract role (10–40 hours/week) working independently and asynchronously with AI research teams.
Responsibilities
- Review AI-generated TypeScript for:
- strict type safety
- correct interface design
- proper use of generics and utility types
- Create complex, type-safe frontend components that demonstrate modern web architecture.
- Write clear, detailed technical commentary explaining architectural decisions and type-driven development strategies.
- Identify and flag weaknesses in AI responses related to:
- complex type definitions
- asynchronous patterns
- frontend edge cases
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in TypeScript (static typing, generics, interfaces, utility types).
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with modern frontend/full-stack frameworks such as React, Angular, Next.js, Nuxt.js, or Node.js.
- Strong written communication to explain technical decisions clearly and concisely.
- Detail-oriented, methodical approach to spotting subtle issues.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
Nice to Have
- Experience with data annotation, model evaluation, or AI-assisted development workflows.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and type-safe API design patterns.
- Experience with monorepos, design systems, or large-scale frontend architecture.
Contract & Location
- Hourly contract, 10–40 hours/week
- Fully remote with flexible scheduling
- Potential for ongoing work/extension as new projects launch
