Frontend Software Engineer (Contract, Remote)

Overview

Create accurate, pixel-perfect frontend UI deliverables and supporting technical documentation based on real-world engineering scenarios, style guides, and screenshots. You’ll also help ensure components follow design systems, accessibility standards, and performance best practices.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality technical documentation and structured examples based on frontend scenarios.
• Evaluate UI implementations, styling decisions, and frontend best practices.
• Interpret component style guides and interface screenshots to generate precise, visually consistent outputs.
• Implement pixel-perfect, responsive web components using modern frontend technologies (notably TypeScript and CSS3).
• Ensure UI elements adhere to design system guidelines and accessibility standards.
• Collaborate asynchronously with clear documentation and constructive feedback in a remote-first environment.
• Identify, communicate, and resolve inconsistencies/ambiguities in design specifications.
• Optimize UI performance across devices for fast load times and smooth interactions.
• Contribute domain expertise to guide the training and development of advanced AI models.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience delivering high-quality frontend solutions.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, CSS3, and responsive web design.
• Proven ability to build pixel-perfect interfaces from visual references.
• Experience working with and extending component style guides / design systems.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to deliver autonomously in a distributed environment.

Nice to Haves

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
