Role Overview

Join Recare as a Frontend Software Engineer to evolve the Extract + Docs product. You’ll help hospital staff upload, process, and structure documents with the help of AI, delivering a smooth and reliable user experience.

Key Missions

Evolve the Extract + Docs product, focusing on document upload, management, and AI-assisted workflows
Implement UI flows for end-to-end feature delivery
Ensure a fluid, reliable experience across browsers with emphasis on performance and accessibility

Responsibilities

Develop the frontend product experience
Integrate backend and AI APIs
Handle reliable async user experiences (loading states, retries, polling, edge cases)
Write tests and maintain production-quality code
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote-first setup

Requirements

4+ years of frontend engineering experience building production-grade web apps
Strong fundamentals in React and TypeScript (components, hooks, state management, testing)
Ability to integrate APIs and build robust async UX patterns
Product-minded approach with focus on clarity, speed, and safe UI defaults
Clear communication in English and comfort working in an international environment
Care for data privacy and security when handling sensitive documents/patient data

Nice to Have

Experience with complex form UIs
Accessibility and performance optimization
Familiarity with document/PDF workflows
