Frontend Software Engineer (React.js, TypeScript)

Role Overview

You’ll join the Developer Experience group on a remote team to enhance the end-user experience across an industrial-scale observability SaaS platform. The goal is to build intuitive, fast, and reliable UIs that help software engineers diagnose and resolve incidents.

Responsibilities

• Build user experiences that surface critical insights, streamline troubleshooting, and reduce cognitive load during incident response.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineering teams to translate complex observability data into actionable visualizations and workflows.
• Challenge existing designs, incorporate user feedback, and ensure quality and reliability of deliverables.
• Evolve UI component and API architecture across the organization using TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and Node.js.
• Help drive product strategy and contribute to overall platform architecture for scale and product needs.
• Share accountability for automated tests, tooling, and deployment infrastructure for UI-focused engineering.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to infrastructure improvements for reliable, high-performance user experiences.

Requirements

• Proven experience independently owning projects from inception to delivery.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with product managers and UX designers.
• Hands-on experience with observability tooling and distributed systems; understanding customer challenges in complex environments.
• Strong communication skills, including seeking feedback and asking for help.
• Fluency building products with TypeScript and React and knowledge of modern front-end practices.
