About the role

Role Overview

Frontend Software Engineer to build and maintain high-quality, scalable web applications in a remote-first team, primarily using Vue 3 and TypeScript. You will work on real-time patient communication features (audio and SMS) and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve patient care experiences and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain robust frontend web applications using Vue 3 and TypeScript
Design and implement real-time communication features for audio and SMS interactions with patients
Collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure delivery of high-quality components
Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and best practices
Work with product managers and designers to translate requirements into functional features

Requirements

Proven experience building highly available applications in regulated environments
Strong proficiency in Vue 3 and TypeScript
Experience interacting with backend APIs (e.g., Node.js, Express, and related ecosystems)
Solid understanding of web application architecture and real-time communication protocols
Familiarity with CI/CD and Git

Preferred / Nice to Have

Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience with monorepos, especially turborepo
Healthcare technology or SaaS experience
Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, or EHR systems
