Frontend Software Engineer (Js/TypeScript)

Role Overview

Frontend Software Engineer focused on building real-time healthcare web applications for patient audio and SMS engagement.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain frontend web applications using Vue 3 and TypeScript
• Implement real-time communication features for audio and SMS interactions with patients
• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flow
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented code following frontend best practices
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development workflows and tooling
• Engage in team discussions and provide technical guidance as needed

Requirements

• Proven experience building highly available applications in regulated environments (healthcare or finance)
• Proficiency with Vue 3 and TypeScript
• Experience integrating with backend APIs built with Node.js, Mongoose, Express (or similar)
• Strong understanding of frontend development best practices and security standards
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting
• Effective communication skills and proactive attitude

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare technology, SaaS platforms, or similar domains
• Familiarity with HL7 and FHIR standards and EHR systems
• Hands-on cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of CI/CD and version control systems like Git
• Experience with monorepos (especially Turborepo)

Location / Work Model

Distributed team with options for hybrid offices in NYC and Vancouver (Canada) or remote from anywhere.
