About the role

Role Overview

Frontend Software Engineer (remote-first) working with a partner company on AI-powered development tools. You’ll build production-ready, accessible, high-performance user interfaces by translating designs and specifications into accurate web experiences, collaborating with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

  • Translate component specifications, design systems, and UI mockups into production-quality frontend implementations.
  • Build responsive, pixel-perfect UI components.
  • Ensure accessibility compliance and alignment with established design systems.
  • Create reusable UI architectures and maintain consistency across components.
  • Identify and resolve design ambiguities and implementation challenges before delivery.
  • Optimize frontend performance for fast, reliable experiences across browsers and devices.
  • Collaborate with remote engineering teams via technical documentation, code reviews, and feedback.
  • Provide frontend expertise to support training/evaluation of advanced AI models.
  • Share insights and best practices for modern frontend development and UI quality.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional frontend software development.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript, CSS3, and HTML.
  • Proven ability to build pixel-perfect interfaces from design files/mockups/screenshots.
  • Experience with component libraries, design systems, and reusable UI frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of responsive layouts, cross-browser compatibility, WCAG accessibility, and frontend performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks and component-driven development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English) and ability to work independently in a distributed environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with enterprise design systems or large-scale frontend applications.
  • Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science / Software Engineering (advantageous but not required).
