Frontend Software Engineer Intern

Role Overview

Frontend Software Engineer Intern (Unpaid) for a 3-month remote internship at SuppliFlex. You’ll work with the Head of Product & Engineering and a designer to build real, production-ready UI features in the company’s web app.

Responsibilities

• Implement responsive React/TypeScript pages and components based on Figma designs (e.g., onboarding, dashboard, exceptions, inventory views).
• Connect UI to existing REST APIs for auth, integrations, inventory, orders, and exceptions, including loading, error, and empty states.
• Fix UI bugs and improve visual consistency with the SuppliFlex brand.
• Help the app feel as modern as the marketing site.

Requirements

• Solid foundations in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Some React experience (ideally TypeScript) or strong interest supported by personal projects.
• Basic understanding of how frontends consume REST APIs and integrate with backends.
• Hands-on experience or coursework in web development (university, bootcamp, or self-taught projects).
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in a remote team environment.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering (or equivalent self-taught experience).

Nice-to-Haves / Added Context

• Experience building UI features from Figma designs.
• Familiarity with modern React tooling and state/data fetching patterns (given the stack).
