Frontend Software Development Engineer JavaScript Vue.JS

Role Overview

Remote Frontend Software Development Engineer to build and evolve a Vue.js-based front-end. You will collaborate closely with backend engineers to ship UI changes quickly and accurately while maintaining the existing app’s UI/UX principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify UI elements quickly and at high quality, following the current system’s UI/UX guidelines.
• Collaborate with backend teams to ensure accurate, fast, and effective integration.
• Implement and improve SPA functionality using versioning practices and SOLID principles.
• Troubleshoot and resolve development/integration issues.
• Detect and fix memory management/performance issues.
• Optimize frontend performance and support NPM-based integrations and portability.
• Create complex interfaces (e.g., forms/wizards and interactive canvas dashboards).
• Select optimal solutions/algorithms and apply strong problem-solving to engineering tasks.

Requirements

• Vanilla JavaScript expertise (5+ years).
• Vue.js/Nuxt.js expertise (2+ years).
• NPM experience, including front-end NPM-based integrations.
• Experience with SPA development and versioning.
• SOLID principles (also mentions OOP, KISS, DRY).
• Ability to use semver.
• SASS/SCSS/LESS/HTML5.
• Experience building client-server systems.
• Good knowledge of Git and Unix console.
• Frontend app optimization and familiarity with protocols.
• Strong communication skills.

Nice to Have

• UI/UX strength and ability to distinguish good vs. bad design.
• Willingness to suggest and implement software improvements.
• Webpack expertise.
• Basic graphical skills.
• Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, Docker, CI, and DI.
