Role Overview

As a Frontend Python Developer (Senior), you will build modern web applications that replace legacy, spreadsheet-based workflows with scalable, data-driven experiences. The role is part of a long-term, funded federal program supporting mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities

Develop responsive web interfaces and modern UX for enterprise search and analytics platforms.
Create web-based replacements for Excel-driven workflows.
Integrate frontend applications with FastAPI backend services and RESTful APIs.
Build data visualization components for financial positions, equity data, and analytics reporting.
Collaborate on API design, performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility.

Required Qualifications

6+ years of experience in frontend and full-stack web application development.
Strong Python skills, including command-line development and scripting.
Hands-on React and SQL in production environments.
Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with modern web application architectures.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
Ability to pass client-required identity verification and be authorized to work (US implied).

Nice-to-Haves

Experience building data-intensive applications, dashboards, or visualization tools.
Strong understanding of responsive design and frontend performance optimization.
