Frontend Product Engineer, Sr.

Role Overview

Senior/Lead Frontend Product Engineer to support and expand Brillian’s financial platform offerings. You’ll be a founding member of a growing engineering team, influencing development, deployment, and operation of high-quality production systems that directly impact customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain engaging, user-facing interfaces using modern frontend tooling.
• Shape frontend architecture and UI standards, including:
  • State management decisions
  • Component structure and patterns
  • Design system direction
• Support and enhance existing products while helping build new solutions.
• Partner with stakeholders, customers, and partners to:
  • Gather requirements
  • Provide updates
  • Incorporate feedback
• Collaborate with customer success and engineering to validate ideas and implement growth initiatives.
• Implement A/B testing, monitor key metrics, and optimize user engagement and conversion.
• Drive continuous improvement around accessibility, scalability, and shared UI patterns.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices to keep the platform competitive.

Requirements

• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills and modern browser knowledge.
• 10+ years building interactive, user-facing web applications.
• Deep understanding of web fundamentals and protocols (e.g., HTTP, cookies, CSP, CORS).
• Strong consumer product instincts, especially around funnels and conversion flows.
• Proven ability to code in at least two programming languages.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience working collaboratively to define project vision and technical strategy.

Preferred / Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Cloud deployment experience (AWS or Google Cloud).
• Experience developing AI agents or using LLMs for automation.
• Prior technical leadership/management experience.
