About the role
Role Overview
Alignerr is hiring Frontend JavaScript Engineers (AI Training) to evaluate and improve AI-generated JavaScript code. This fully remote, flexible contract role helps ensure AI tools write code that reflects strong engineering practices.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated JavaScript for:
- correctness
- efficiency
- adherence to modern ES6+ standards
- Assess DOM manipulation approaches and identify performance issues and anti-patterns
- Tackle complex UI/UX challenges to validate responsive, interactive frontend behavior
- Find bugs and suboptimal patterns in AI-generated frontend logic and propose optimized alternatives
- Write human-readable documentation covering:
- state flow
- event handling
- code structure
- Work independently and asynchronously, following your own schedule
Requirements
- Deep hands-on knowledge of core JavaScript concepts, including:
- async/await
- closures
- event loop
- DOM manipulation
- 3–5 years practical experience with modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or Node.js
- Strong instincts for clean, maintainable, efficient frontend code
- Detail-oriented, systematic approach to improving code quality
- Clear communicator who can explain technical reasoning in plain terms
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
Nice to Have
- Experience with data labeling, RLHF, or other AI training/evaluation projects
- Familiarity with testing frameworks, code review workflows, and frontend performance profiling
- Background in technical writing or code documentation
Contract Details
- Hourly contract
- 10–40 hours/week
- Fully remote with onboarding/training support provided
