About the role

Role overview

As a Frontend JavaScript Engineer (AI Training), you will evaluate, critique, and improve AI-generated JavaScript code. Your feedback helps ensure next-generation AI tools produce frontend code that behaves like great software engineers.

Contract: Hourly, 10–40 hours/week Work style: Fully remote, flexible schedule (asynchronous)

What you’ll do

  • Evaluate AI-generated JavaScript for:
    • correctness
    • efficiency
    • adherence to ES6+ standards
  • Review DOM manipulation approaches and identify performance issues or anti-patterns
  • Tackle UI/UX problems to test the model’s ability to produce responsive, interactive frontend solutions
  • Detect bugs and suboptimal frontend logic and provide clearly optimized alternatives
  • Write human-readable documentation explaining:
    • state flow
    • event handling
    • code structure
  • Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Requirements

  • Deep hands-on knowledge of core JavaScript concepts, including:
    • async/await
    • closures
    • event loop
    • DOM manipulation
  • 3–5 years of practical experience with modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or Node.js
  • Strong instincts for clean, maintainable, efficient frontend code
  • Detail-oriented, systematic approach to evaluating and improving code quality
  • Clear written communication to explain technical reasoning in plain terms
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (preferred)

Nice to have

  • Experience with data labeling, RLHF, or other AI training/evaluation projects
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks, code review workflows, or frontend performance profiling
  • Background in technical writing or code documentation
