About the role
Role Overview
Frontend JavaScript Engineer (Hourly Contract) at Alignerr. You will support AI training by evaluating AI-generated JavaScript intended for frontend functionality and interactive UI behavior.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated JavaScript code for DOM manipulation efficiency and ES6+ standards.
- Solve complex UI/UX challenges to assess the model’s ability to create responsive, interactive elements.
- Write human-readable documentation describing state and event handling flows in scripts.
- Identify bugs and frontend anti-patterns in AI-generated logic, and propose optimized alternatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field (preferred).
- Deep familiarity with core JavaScript concepts, including:
- async/await
- closures
- DOM manipulation
- 3–5 years of experience with modern frameworks such as React, Node.js, or Vue.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with data labeling, RLHF, or other AI training projects.
Logistics / Process
- Remote (10–40 hours/week).
- Compensation: $60–$90/hour.
- Interview process includes resume submission, a short screening, and a project matching/onboarding step.
