About the role
Role Overview
Alignerr is hiring Frontend JavaScript Developers (AI Training) to evaluate, critique, and improve AI-generated JavaScript code. You’ll assess whether AI output meets real engineering standards and helps shape the next generation of AI coding tools.
Type & Schedule
- Hourly contract
- Fully remote
- 10–40 hours/week (you set your own schedule)
- Independent, asynchronous, task-based work
Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated JavaScript for:
- correctness
- efficiency
- compliance with ES6+ standards
- Identify and improve:
- bugs
- anti-patterns
- suboptimal logic
- Solve UI/UX challenges to test AI’s ability with responsive and interactive elements
- Review DOM manipulation efficiency and practical usability
- Write clear, human-readable documentation covering:
- state flow
- event handling
- code logic
Requirements
- Strong core JavaScript (especially async/await, closures, DOM manipulation, ES6+ ecosystem)
- 3–5 years hands-on experience with frameworks such as React, Vue, or Node.js
- Strong code quality judgment (can explain why something is wrong)
- Clear written communication across different audiences
- Self-motivated and consistent while working independently
- CS degree preferred (not required)
Nice to Have
- Experience with data labeling / RLHF or other AI training or evaluation work
- Background in code review, technical writing, or developer education
- Familiarity with frontend performance profiling/optimization tools
- Exposure to testing frameworks or software quality assurance workflows
