About the role
Role Overview
As a Frontend JavaScript Developer (AI Training), you will evaluate, critique, and improve AI-generated JavaScript code—helping ensure next-generation AI coding tools meet the expectations of practicing engineers.
Location & Contract
- Fully remote
- Hourly contract
- 10–40 hours/week (flexible; you set your schedule)
- Independent, task-based assignments completed asynchronously
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate AI-generated JavaScript for:
- correctness
- efficiency
- adherence to ES6+ standards
- Identify bugs, anti-patterns, and suboptimal logic in AI-produced frontend code, and propose optimized alternatives
- Tackle complex UI/UX challenges to test AI performance on responsive and interactive elements
- Assess DOM manipulation efficiency and real-world usability of AI-generated scripts
- Write clear, human-readable documentation covering:
- state flow
- event handling
- code logic
- Complete task-based assignments independently
Requirements
- Strong command of modern JavaScript (including async/await, closures, and DOM manipulation)
- 3–5+ years hands-on experience with frameworks such as React, Vue, or Node.js
- Strong code quality instincts (able to explain why something is wrong)
- Clear written communication skills
- Self-motivated and reliable while working independently
- A CS degree is preferred, not required
Nice to Have
- Experience with data labeling, RLHF, or AI training/evaluation projects
- Background in code review, technical writing, or developer education
- Familiarity with frontend performance profiling/optimization tools
- Experience with testing frameworks or QA workflows
