About the role

Role Overview

As a Frontend JavaScript Developer (AI Training) at Alignerr, you will evaluate and improve AI-generated JavaScript code. You’ll help ensure the next generation of AI coding tools produces code that works for real engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate AI-generated JavaScript for:
    • correctness
    • efficiency
    • adherence to ES6+ standards
  • Identify and fix issues in AI-written frontend code, including:
    • bugs
    • anti-patterns
    • suboptimal logic
  • Provide optimized alternatives and explain improvements
  • Test AI handling of responsive and interactive UI/UX challenges
  • Assess DOM manipulation efficiency and real-world usability
  • Write clear, human-readable documentation covering:
    • state flow
    • event handling
    • code logic
  • Complete task-based assignments independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Requirements

  • Strong command of core JavaScript, including:
    • async/await
    • closures
    • DOM manipulation
    • modern ES6+ ecosystem
  • 3–5 years hands-on experience with React, Vue, or Node.js
  • Ability to judge code quality and articulate why it falls short
  • Clear written communication; can explain technical concepts to varied audiences
  • Self-motivated and consistent working independently
  • CS or related degree preferred (not required)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data labeling, RLHF, or other AI training/evaluation work
  • Background in code review, technical writing, or developer education
  • Familiarity with frontend performance profiling/optimization tools
  • Experience with testing frameworks or QA workflows

Work Details

  • Type: Hourly contract
  • Location: Remote (fully remote)
  • Hours: 10–40 hours/week (flexible; you set your own schedule)
