About the role
Role Overview
Hourly JavaScript Developer (Contract) at Alignerr. Remote role supporting AI training by reviewing and improving AI-generated frontend JavaScript code.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI-generated JavaScript for DOM manipulation efficiency and ES6+ standards.
- Solve complex UI/UX challenges to test the model’s ability to produce responsive, interactive elements.
- Create human-readable documentation describing state flow and event handling in scripts.
- Identify bugs and anti-patterns in AI-generated frontend logic and propose optimized alternatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related technical field (preferred).
- Deep familiarity with core JavaScript concepts, including:
- async/await
- closures
- DOM manipulation
- 3–5 years experience with modern frameworks such as React, Node.js, or Vue.
Nice to Have
- Experience with data labeling, RLHF, or other AI training projects.
Logistics
- Remote
- 10–40 hours/week
- Hourly contract compensation: $60–$90/hour
