Frontend JavaScript Developer

Role Overview

Alignerr is hiring Frontend JavaScript Developers (AI Training) to evaluate, critique, and improve AI-generated JavaScript code. You’ll help ensure next-generation AI coding tools meet the standards real engineers expect.

Contract Details

• Type: Hourly contract (fully remote)
• Schedule: Choose your own schedule
• Hours: 10–40 hours/week

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate AI-generated JavaScript for:
  • correctness
  • efficiency
  • compliance with ES6+ standards
• Identify and fix bugs, anti-patterns, and suboptimal logic; provide optimized alternatives
• Assess how AI handles responsive and interactive UI/UX scenarios
• Review DOM manipulation efficiency and real-world usability of generated scripts
• Write clear, human-readable documentation covering:
  • state flow
  • event handling
  • code logic
• Complete task-based assignments independently and asynchronously

Who You Are

• Strong command of modern JavaScript (ES6+) including:
  • async/await
  • closures
  • DOM manipulation
  • the broader ES6+ ecosystem
• 3–5 years hands-on experience with React, Vue, or Node.js
• Sharp eye for code quality and ability to explain why code falls short
• Clear written communication across different audiences
• Self-motivated, consistent when working independently
• CS degree preferred (not required)

Nice to Have

• Experience with data labeling, RLHF, or AI training/evaluation projects
• Background in code review, technical writing, or developer education
• Familiarity with frontend performance profiling/optimization tools
• Exposure to testing frameworks or software quality assurance workflows
