Frontend JavaScript Developer

Role overview

Join Alignerr’s remote team as a JavaScript Frontend Developer on an hourly contract. You’ll work with AI research teams to evaluate and improve AI-generated JavaScript code, with a focus on building responsive, interactive UI components.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated JavaScript for efficiency in DOM manipulation and adherence to ES6+ standards.
• Solve complex UI/UX challenges to test the model’s ability to create responsive, interactive elements.
• Document state and event handling flows in a clear, human-readable way.
• Identify bugs and anti-patterns in AI-generated frontend logic; propose optimized, best-practice alternatives.
• Collaborate with AI research teams to provide feedback that improves model accuracy and performance.
• Stay current on JavaScript framework updates and AI training methodologies to enhance project quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Strong core JavaScript knowledge, including:
  • async/await
  • closures
  • DOM manipulation
• 3–5 years hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Node.js, or Vue.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly; strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with data labeling
• Experience with RLHF (reinforcement learning from human feedback)
• Prior work on other AI training projects

Work model & compensation

• Remote; flexibility to work 10–40 hours/week.
• Hourly rate: $60–$90/hour (based on experience and project scope).
