Frontend Full Stack Developer (Headless CMS)

Role Overview

Frontend-focused Full Stack Developer to support large-scale redesign and enhancements of customer-facing digital platforms for a gaming and hospitality organization. The environment is built on Next.js, React, and Contentful (headless CMS), following a migration from Sitecore. The team is small and highly collaborative, so you’ll need to contribute quickly.

Responsibilities

Frontend Development & Website Experience

• Build and enhance responsive, high-quality web experiences using React.js and Next.js
• Create modern UI components with Tailwind CSS
• Implement SSR, SSG, and ISR for performance and SEO optimization
• Partner with design and content teams to deliver digital experiences (rooms, dining, guest experiences, etc.)

Headless CMS (Contentful)

• Work in Contentful to manage and structure content models
• Integrate REST/GraphQL APIs into frontend applications (API consumption)
• Support post-migration enhancements after Sitecore
• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize content scalability and usability

Application Enhancements & New Builds

• Support ongoing redesign across multiple branded websites
• Build new digital features and experiences on existing platforms
• Improve site performance, usability, and accessibility

Team Collaboration

• Work in a small agile team (3 developers)
• Participate in code reviews, planning, and technical discussions
• Maintain clean, well-documented code

Requirements

• 10+ years of frontend or full stack web development (frontend-heavy)
• Strong React.js and Next.js experience
• Headless CMS experience; Contentful preferred
• Responsive, user-facing website development experience
• Proficiency with Tailwind CSS (or similar)
• REST API and/or GraphQL integration experience (consumption)
• Strong knowledge of web performance, SEO, and accessibility (WCAG)
• Comfortable with Git and collaborative Agile workflows

Nice to Have

• Direct Contentful experience
• Experience migrating from Sitecore (or other CMS)
• Experience supporting hospitality, ecommerce, or customer-facing platforms
• Familiarity with cloud hosting (Vercel, Netlify, AWS, etc.)
• TypeScript experience
• Familiarity with Cloudinary or similar media/CDN tooling
