Frontend Engineer - Vue.js (Remote)

Role Overview

Contract Frontend Engineer (Vue.js) working remotely (work from anywhere). You’ll build and maintain user-facing interfaces and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, responsive web solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize frontend applications using Vue.js, focusing on performance and accessibility
• Partner with UI/UX designers to implement responsive, intuitive interfaces
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to frontend architecture decisions
• Troubleshoot and fix issues in existing frontend applications
• Integrate third-party APIs to enhance platform functionality

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Vue.js and modern JavaScript (component-based architecture)
• Experience with state management: Vuex or Pinia
• Familiarity with frontend build tools: Webpack or Vite (or similar)
• Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3, including responsive design
• Experience with testing frameworks: Jest or Cypress
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision
