Frontend Engineer - Vue.js (Remote)

Role overview

Contract Frontend Engineer (Vue.js) working remote (work from anywhere in the U.S.). You’ll build and maintain user-facing interfaces, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, responsive web experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize frontend applications using Vue.js with a focus on performance and accessibility
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive, intuitive interfaces
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code using best practices
• Participate in code reviews and help with frontend architectural decisions
• Troubleshoot and fix issues in existing frontend applications
• Integrate third-party APIs as part of platform enhancement

Requirements

• Proficiency in Vue.js and modern JavaScript with strong component-based architecture
• Experience with state management (e.g., Vuex or Pinia)
• Familiarity with frontend build tools such as Webpack or Vite
• Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3, including responsive design
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or Cypress
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting
