Frontend Engineer - Vue.js (Remote)

Role Overview

Contract Frontend Engineer (Vue.js) to build and maintain user-facing web interfaces for a client. This is a remote role (work from anywhere) focused on scalable, responsive frontend development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize frontend applications using Vue.js with a focus on performance and accessibility
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive, intuitive interfaces
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to frontend architecture decisions
• Troubleshoot and fix issues in existing frontend applications
• Support integration of third-party APIs

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Vue.js and modern JavaScript frameworks; strong component-based architecture understanding
• Experience with state management (e.g., Vuex or Pinia)
• Familiarity with frontend build tools such as Webpack or Vite
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or Cypress
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

• Experience contributing to architectural decisions for frontend systems
• Prior work integrating third-party APIs
