Frontend Engineer - Vue.js (Remote)

Role Overview

Contract Frontend Engineer (Vue.js) working remotely from anywhere in the US. You will build and maintain user-facing interfaces, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help deliver scalable, responsive web experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize frontend applications using Vue.js, focusing on performance and accessibility
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive, intuitive interfaces
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to frontend architecture decisions
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing frontend applications
• Integrate third-party APIs as part of platform enhancements

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in Vue.js and modern JavaScript frameworks; strong component-based architecture knowledge
• Experience with Vue state management: Vuex or Pinia
• Familiarity with frontend build tools: Webpack or Vite
• Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3, including responsive design principles
• Testing experience with Jest or Cypress
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision

Compensation

• $20–$45/hour (contract)
