Frontend Engineer (Vue.js) — Contract (Remote)

Work from anywhere in the United States on a contract basis to build and maintain user-facing frontend applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize frontend applications using Vue.js, focusing on performance and accessibility
• Collaborate with UI/UX to implement responsive, intuitive interfaces
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to frontend architecture decisions
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing frontend applications
• Integrate third-party APIs to enhance platform functionality

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Vue.js and modern JavaScript frameworks; solid grasp of component-based architecture
• Experience with state management using Vuex or Pinia
• Familiarity with frontend build tools such as Webpack or Vite
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or Cypress
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision

• Experience working in cross-functional teams and contributing to scalable web application development
