About the role

Role overview

As a Frontend Engineer at Veriff, you will build and improve user-facing components of the company’s real-time Verification Platform. You’ll work closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver a smooth user experience.

Key responsibilities

Develop and maintain frontend applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
Collaborate cross-functionally with design, backend, and product teams.
Participate in code reviews, apply feedback, and help debug issues.

Requirements

Experience building frontend applications with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
Familiarity with modern frontend tools and workflows.
Ability to write tests and debug problems.
Basic understanding of frontend architecture and best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
Understanding of integrating frontend applications with APIs.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Nice-to-haves

Exposure to performance optimization and responsive design.
Familiarity with testing tools such as Jest and Cypress.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
Awareness of accessibility and inclusive design.
Exposure to Node.js or full-stack environments.
