Frontend Engineer (US)

Role Overview

Frontend Engineer responsible for evolving the user-facing UI powering VulnCheck’s web platform and marketing website. This is a hands-on, 100% remote role partnering closely with Product and Design.

Responsibilities

• Own the product UI end-to-end: architecture, development, and continuous improvement
• Lead frontend direction: define patterns, component systems, and design standards
• Build and maintain the marketing website, balancing speed and quality
• Write clean, maintainable code with frontend-first development and backend context as needed
• Translate requirements from Product and Design into polished customer experiences
• Improve performance, accessibility, and reliability of customer-facing interfaces
• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to frontend architecture decisions
• Debug and resolve production UI issues with durable solutions
• Mentor other engineers on frontend best practices and contribute to engineering culture

Requirements

• 5+ years building and shipping production web applications
• Background in cybersecurity or technical data products
• Strong proficiency in modern frontend frameworks, with React preferred
• Full-stack competence (backend experience a plus)
• Experience owning a product UI or web property end-to-end
• Strong understanding of web performance, accessibility, and browser compatibility
• Ability to collaborate closely with designers and implement high-quality visual direction
• Strong ownership mindset and clear cross-functional communication

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in B2B SaaS or developer-facing products
• Familiarity with design systems or owning component libraries
• Experience in high-growth or startup environments

• Remote but candidates must be located in Massachusetts, Maryland, or Greater Austin, TX.
