Role Overview
Contract Frontend Engineer (Tailwind), remote, supporting 10–40 hrs/week.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement robust, responsive web interfaces using React and Tailwind CSS
- Deliver pixel-perfect UI aligned with design requirements
- Maintain a consistent, scalable design system and UI architecture/component library
- Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to build seamless user experiences
- Improve frontend performance by identifying and addressing bottlenecks and applying best practices
- Champion accessibility and usability standards for inclusive products
Requirements
- Extensive experience building complex frontends with React and JavaScript
- Strong expertise in Tailwind CSS and experience with responsive, scalable design systems
- Strong knowledge of frontend performance optimization best practices
- Ability to produce pixel-perfect UIs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote work
- Proven track record of building accessible and maintainable web applications
