Role Overview

Senior Frontend Engineer (Tailwind) — Contract (Remote)

• Commitment: 10–40 hrs/week
• Compensation: $30–$90/hr

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust, responsive web interfaces using React and Tailwind CSS.
• Deliver pixel-perfect UI implementations and maintain a consistent, scalable design system.
• Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to create seamless user experiences.
• Optimize frontend performance by identifying bottlenecks and enforcing best practices.
• Help evolve UI architecture and a component library.
• Champion accessibility and usability standards for inclusive products.

Requirements

• Extensive experience building complex frontends with React and JavaScript.
• Strong expertise in Tailwind CSS and experience with responsive, scalable design systems.
• Strong knowledge of frontend performance optimization best practices.
• Proven ability to produce pixel-perfect UIs aligned to design specs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, especially for remote work.
• Track record of building accessible and maintainable web applications.
