Frontend Engineer

Role Overview

Build and scale high-performance, accessible, and responsive user interfaces for core web applications. You’ll work closely with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to turn complex requirements into modular, reusable frontend architectures.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy interactive web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Use modern state management libraries to implement client-side functionality.
• Optimize performance and bundle size for sub-second page loads and smooth rendering.
• Build and maintain a reusable UI component library aligned with design system guidelines and WCAG accessibility standards.
• Write tests at multiple levels:
  • Unit/Integration: Jest, React Testing Library
  • End-to-End: Cypress
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL schemas.
• Participate in design reviews, peer code reviews, and technical discussions to maintain frontend code quality.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional frontend web development experience.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and modern CSS (e.g., Tailwind CSS or CSS Modules).
• Experience with client-side state management: Redux Toolkit, Recoil, or Zustand.
• Experience with build tools/bundlers: Webpack, Vite, and Babel.
• Solid understanding of web performance optimization and browser rendering.
• CS degree (or equivalent practical experience).
