Frontend Engineer

Build and architect responsive, scalable, and accessible user-facing web applications. You’ll translate complex UI/UX designs into production-ready frontend code and collaborate with product and backend teams on API contracts, performance, and engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance web applications using React, TypeScript, and modern state management patterns
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and Core Web Vitals
• Build and contribute to a reusable UI component library with WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility
• Integrate with RESTful APIs and GraphQL, managing asynchronous data flows and state synchronization
• Create unit, integration, and E2E tests using Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress or Playwright
• Lead code reviews, author technical design docs, and establish frontend best practices

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional frontend-focused software engineering experience
• Strong expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, semantic HTML5, and modern CSS (e.g., Tailwind CSS or Styled Components)
• Proven experience scaling React applications and using modern build tooling (Webpack, Vite, or Next.js)
• Solid understanding of browser rendering pipelines, DOM manipulation, HTTP, and frontend security
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience

• Experience with web performance profiling
• Node.js backend services experience
• Experience contributing to open-source frontend libraries
