About the role

Role Overview

Frontend Engineer (Remote) at Joveo, building user-facing experiences for an AI-driven recruitment advertising platform. You’ll partner closely with design and backend teams to create fast, accessible, and intuitive UI for enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain scalable UI components and frontend systems
Implement pixel-accurate, responsive interfaces from design specifications
Optimize Core Web Vitals, rendering performance, and accessibility (WCAG)
Collaborate with backend teams to define and consume API contracts
Write comprehensive tests for UI components and user interaction flows
Contribute to and maintain a shared frontend design system

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong proficiency with React or Next.js and TypeScript
Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, and modern browser rendering
Experience with state management, data fetching, and client-side routing
Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 AA+ accessibility standards
Experience with frontend testing frameworks: Jest, Playwright, or Cypress
Strong design sense and collaboration with designers
