About the role
Role Overview
Frontend Engineer specializing in Robotics Human-Machine Interface (HMI) to build and enhance graphical interfaces for industrial robotic systems. You will collaborate with the robotics team to deliver intuitive, modern, responsive web-based UIs that can run on edge devices and integrate with backend systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop modern, intuitive graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for industrial robotic systems
- Build and port full-stack tools with web technologies that run on edge devices
- Integrate frontend interfaces with core robotics/software systems
- Connect the robotics frontend with backend systems to ensure seamless data flow and functionality
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues on deployed systems in the field
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
- Stay current on emerging technologies and apply innovative solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of frontend development experience, especially with ReactJS
- Strong knowledge of web technologies, responsive design, and UI/UX principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot deployed systems
Nice to Have
- Experience building UIs for IoT, robotics, or mobile applications
- Proficiency with React Native
- Experience with Django or similar backend frameworks
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS)
- Hands-on with modern cloud tooling (e.g., Docker, Datadog)
- Familiarity with AI-based development tools and integrations
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
