About the role
Role Overview
Frontend Engineer to design, build, and optimize modern web applications for healthcare professionals and patients. You’ll translate complex workflows into responsive, intuitive UI in collaboration with backend engineers, product designers, and AI specialists.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of user-facing features for high-quality, responsive, accessible web apps.
- Collaborate with designers/product managers to turn wireframes and mockups into functional interfaces.
- Optimize frontend code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Maintain UI/UX consistency with design standards and best practices.
- Integrate frontend components with backend APIs to ensure seamless data flow.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Mentor junior developers and support technical growth in the frontend team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional front-end development experience building scalable, modern web applications.
- Expertise with React (preferred) plus modern frameworks such as Vue.js or Angular.
- Strong state management knowledge (Redux, MobX, or Zustand).
- Familiarity integrating with RESTful APIs; experience integrating with backend services, especially Node.js.
- Proficiency with build tools (Webpack or Vite) and Git.
- Strong UI/UX implementation, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively across disciplines.
Nice-to-Haves
- Prior experience mentoring junior developers.
- Experience optimizing accessibility and performance across multiple platforms.
