About the role
Role Overview
Join Adobe on Adobe Firefly as a Frontend Engineer (JavaScript / UX). You’ll build innovative, user-centric interfaces for creative users, working with engineers, designers, and product managers to turn ideas into interactive prototypes and fully functional web applications.
Responsibilities
- Build responsive, accessible UI experiences for Adobe Firefly
- Collaborate with design and product teams to convert early concepts into interactive prototypes
- Work with customers to identify pain points, run A/B testing, and refine user workflows
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality and technical documentation
- Advocate for and implement Test Driven Development (TDD) practices
- Contribute to CI/CD and deployment processes to streamline development cycles
- Explore emerging technologies (e.g., WebAssembly, WebGPU, advanced rendering) to enhance UX
Requirements
- 3+ years building interactive web applications (creative tools domain preferred)
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proven experience building/deploying interactive web applications using React
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript (ES6+)
- Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Proficiency with functional programming styles
- Strong written and verbal communication; able to work independently in hybrid/remote settings
- Ability to translate design concepts into interactive prototypes and applications
Nice to Haves
- Experience with WebAssembly, WebGPU, and advanced rendering techniques
