About the role

Role Overview

Join Adobe on Adobe Firefly as a Frontend Engineer (JavaScript / UX). You’ll build innovative, user-centric interfaces for creative users, working with engineers, designers, and product managers to turn ideas into interactive prototypes and fully functional web applications.

Responsibilities

Build responsive, accessible UI experiences for Adobe Firefly
Collaborate with design and product teams to convert early concepts into interactive prototypes
Work with customers to identify pain points, run A/B testing, and refine user workflows
Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality and technical documentation
Advocate for and implement Test Driven Development (TDD) practices
Contribute to CI/CD and deployment processes to streamline development cycles
Explore emerging technologies (e.g., WebAssembly, WebGPU, advanced rendering) to enhance UX

Requirements

3+ years building interactive web applications (creative tools domain preferred)
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Proven experience building/deploying interactive web applications using React
Strong proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript (ES6+)
Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
Proficiency with functional programming styles
Strong written and verbal communication; able to work independently in hybrid/remote settings
Ability to translate design concepts into interactive prototypes and applications

Nice to Haves

Experience with WebAssembly, WebGPU, and advanced rendering techniques
