Frontend Engineer (Js, TypeScript)

Role overview

Frontend Engineer to join Stripe’s Payments organization. You’ll design and build consumer-focused user interfaces and full-stack products that directly impact checkout and payment experiences for millions of Stripe users and merchants.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and maintain scalable, high-quality payment products and APIs
• Design and implement high-performance, seamless checkout flows that improve user experience and increase conversion
• Build and iterate on new payment features used by millions of users and merchants globally
• Explore and prototype innovative payment experiences using Stripe’s technology stack
• Partner with product, design, infrastructure engineering, marketing, and operations to align on goals
• Contribute to roadmap execution, balancing short-term delivery with long-term strategy
• Maintain high engineering standards and consistency/quality across codebases and processes

Requirements

• 2+ years of software development experience with modern frontend technologies
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and React
• Ability to own frontend projects end-to-end (from conception through deployment)
• Strong problem-solving skills and motivation to build impactful solutions
• Strong collaboration skills in diverse, cross-functional teams
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
