Role Overview

Frontend Engineer (United States)

Build and maintain modern, user-facing applications and internal tools that improve operational efficiency, customer experiences, and business-critical workflows. You’ll work with distributed teams and contribute to scalable, secure software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain user-facing applications and internal tools
• Develop modern, scalable, secure, and maintainable frontend systems
• Build dashboards and customer support/account management and workflow automation interfaces
• Create custom search tools, investigation platforms, data annotation interfaces, and reporting solutions
• Develop UX that explains machine learning outputs and complex system insights
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define technical requirements
• Write reliable, well-tested, extensible code
• Reduce technical debt and improve development workflows
• Participate across the full SDLC: design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production monitoring
• Share knowledge via collaboration, mentorship, and constructive code reviews

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in frontend or full-stack development, with strong frontend focus
• Proven experience building modern web applications (e.g., React, Vue, or similar SPA technologies)
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture and user experience principles
• Experience with backend services and data-driven applications
• Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL and/or NoSQL
• Ability to lead technical projects and take ownership from concept through delivery
• Strong skills in writing clean, maintainable, well-tested code
• Experience in fast-paced, startup-like environments
• Strong communication skills working across multiple time zones
• Curiosity and adaptability to learn new technologies quickly

• Experience explaining ML outputs and complex system insights via user experience design
