About the role

Role Overview

Contract Frontend Engineer (JavaScript) working remotely. You’ll develop and maintain user-facing features for a platform that supports global talent access and AI-driven workflows, with a focus on modern frontend UX and performance.

Responsibilities

Build and optimize frontend components using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries
Collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flow
Implement responsive and accessible UI components aligned with design system guidelines
Perform code reviews and write unit tests to maintain frontend quality
Troubleshoot frontend bugs and address performance bottlenecks

Required Skills

Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React (or similar frameworks)
Experience with state management (e.g., Redux or Context API)
Strong responsive design and CSS fundamentals
Familiarity with frontend build tools such as Webpack or Vite
Experience integrating RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
Testing experience with Jest, Cypress, or React Testing Library
Clean, maintainable, well-documented code
Version control with Git
