Frontend Engineer I

Role overview

Frontend Engineer to build fast, accessible, and beautiful web interfaces. You’ll develop pixel-perfect, performant user experiences in close collaboration with designers and backend engineers.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive, accessible UI using React and Next.js (or Vue if applicable).
• Write scalable, type-safe TypeScript.
• Implement design systems, animations, and interactive components.
• Optimize for Core Web Vitals, accessibility (WCAG 2.2), and mobile-first experiences.
• Integrate with REST, GraphQL, or WebSocket APIs.
• Collaborate with designers and support design-engineering alignment.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals.
• Deep React experience (hooks, context, server components, and modern state libraries).
• Understanding of component architecture, design systems, and responsive CSS.
• Experience with Git, code reviews, and automated testing.
• Portfolio and/or GitHub or production examples.

Preferred qualifications

• Tailwind, Radix, or shadcn/ui.
• Animation/3D experience (e.g., Framer Motion, GSAP, Three.js, React Three Fiber).
• Secondary language (e.g., Rust (WASM) or Go).
• E-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento) or AI product experience.
• SSR/ISR, edge rendering, or build optimization knowledge.
