About the role
Role Overview
Fluidstack is hiring a Frontend Engineer to own customer-facing and internal UI surfaces. You’ll be the primary frontend engineer across two high-visibility areas: the public marketing website and internal tooling that powers operational workflows. This role involves architecture and execution—frontend is not a downstream, design-only implementation function.
Responsibilities
- Develop and operate the homepage/public marketing site
- Lead technical decisions on architecture, performance, and UX quality
- Build internal UIs
- Design and ship React-based interfaces for operational dashboards, data center management views, procurement workflows, and other engineering/ops tools
- Create and maintain a component system
- Build shared React component libraries using Mantine and/or Tailwind, documented in Storybook
- Enforce high visual quality and accessibility standards
- Use AI-assisted development workflows
- Actively use tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar
- Ship interactive, marketing-forward experiences
- Prototype and implement motion, transitions, and interactive UI using Framer where appropriate
- Own CMS / no-code integrations
- Manage integrations with Webflow (or equivalent) for marketing content workflows
- Choose when no-code is the right abstraction vs. when it isn’t
- Drive frontend engineering quality
- Write clean TypeScript, enforce type safety
- Contribute to CI/CD and set standards for component architecture, state management, and performance profiling
- Collaborate cross-functionally
- Work with design, product, infrastructure, and GTM stakeholders to translate ambiguous needs into well-scoped implementations
Requirements (Basic Qualifications)
- 3+ years of professional frontend engineering experience shipping production React applications
- Strong TypeScript skills and production experience with Mantine and/or Tailwind CSS (or similar)
- Experience building and maintaining a component library documented in Storybook
- Shipped a public-facing marketing site with measurable performance requirements and a high design bar
- Proficiency with modern React patterns, including hooks, context, server components, and state management (Zustand, Jotai, or equivalent)
- Experience with PWAs and/or React Native (or other mobile frameworks)
- Comfortable with Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and critically reviewing your own PRs
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with Framer for motion/interaction
- Experience with Webflow (or equivalent) CMS integrations
