About the role

Role Overview

CareerVillage.org is hiring a full-time Frontend Software Engineer to help build socially impactful technology. You’ll work on two products: the flagship crowdsourcing platform and Coach, an AI career coach.

Responsibilities

Write code using modern web technologies with a focus on accessibility and responsive UI.
Collaborate with product designers, product managers, and backend engineers to shape product UX and functionality.
Draft technical documentation describing approaches to complex problems.
Review team code with an emphasis on readability, maintainability, and performance.

Requirements

Strong frontend engineering skills focused on building intuitive, polished, great user experiences.
Experience building accessible and responsive interfaces.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and contribute to technical decision-making.

Nice-to-haves

Experience working with mission-driven or education/career-related products (inferred from the role focus).
