Frontend Engineer (Angular)

Location: Remote (United States)

Role Overview

Collaborate with the UI architect, product owner, and Scrum Master to build and deliver a complete, high-performing front-end application.

Responsibilities

• Develop the front-end application and integrate it with backend services
• Write tested and documented code using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Work with back-end developers to build and integrate RESTful APIs
• Identify performance bottlenecks and bugs, and propose fixes
• Communicate with external web/windows services as needed
• Participate in an Agile team and all Agile ceremonies

Requirements

• Proficiency in TypeScript and HTML5
• Experience with MVC architecture
• Experience with npm
• Experience with Webpack for bundling
• Proficiency with Angular Material
• Strong debugging skills
• Experience using Redux for state management
• Ability to create self-contained, reusable, testable modules and components
• Ensure clear dependency chains for app logic and file structure
• Ability to build single-page applications
• Professional and precise communication skills
• Client-side validation with responsive user feedback

Nice to Have

• Experience migrating AngularJS applications to Angular 2+ (2/3/4/5/6/7)
• Understanding of platform/system responsibilities including database, API, caching, proxies, and related services
