Frontend Engineer - Angular, JavaScript (Remote)

Role Overview

Contract Frontend Engineer (Angular) working remotely (work from anywhere in the US). You will develop and maintain responsive, high-performance user interfaces for a workforce management system serving a global platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy responsive frontend components using Angular and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with product teams to refine UI/UX requirements and implement them technically.
• Optimize frontend performance for high-traffic applications (fast load times, seamless interactions).
• Write clean, maintainable code and perform thorough testing (unit, integration, end-to-end).
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and CI/CD workflows.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Angular, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
• Component-based architecture and state management (e.g., NgRx, RxJS).
• Integration with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Frontend testing frameworks: Jasmine, Karma, Cypress.
• Git and version control best practices.
• Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience building scalable, high-performance interfaces for large user bases (implied by the platform scope).
