About the role

Role Overview

Frontend Engineer (Part-time, Remote) to support a critical AI research project for a top AI company. You’ll design and build UI components and help create questions/prompts aligned with research objectives and user experience standards.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain frontend components and interfaces for AI research projects
Collaborate with research teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
Create and refine questions and prompts aligned to research objectives and UX standards
Ensure responsive, accessible, and usable application interfaces
Participate in regular project meetings with progress updates
Apply best practices for code quality, testing, and documentation for maintainability and scalability
Stay current with frontend trends and incorporate improvements

Qualifications

4+ years of full-time frontend development experience (or related)
Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
Strong UI/UX principles and best practices
Experience in research-oriented or detail-precision environments
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively remotely
Must have access to a desktop/laptop (Chromebooks not supported)
Must be based in the US, UK, or Canada

Working Conditions

Fully remote
Minimum 15 hours/week
Expected duration: 6 months (may extend)
