Frontend Engineer | $85/hr Remote

Role Overview

Hourly contract, sprint-based remote project (12–24 hour stretches). As a Frontend Engineer, you will complete frontend tasks and validate model-generated code using engineering judgment.

Responsibilities

• Complete and evaluate complex frontend engineering tasks using coding agents
• Review model-generated frontend code for:
  • correctness
  • quality and maintainability
  • accessibility
  • performance
• Identify bugs, edge cases, and failure modes in generated outputs
• Compare outputs from multiple models and assess strengths/weaknesses
• Apply real-world engineering judgment to frontend UI architecture and optimization decisions

Requirements

• Strong frontend engineering experience
• Strong experience building modern web applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript (or similar)
• Strong experience using coding agents and developer productivity tools
• Ability to evaluate model-generated frontend implementations, UI architecture, and performance optimizations
• Strong experience working on large-scale consumer or enterprise applications

Contract Details

• $85/hour commission-style hourly contract rate
• Typical task: ~$400 per accepted task, taking ~2–3 hours after ramp-up
