Frontend Developer

Role Overview

Join a growing engineering team as a Frontend Developer in San Francisco, CA. You’ll design, develop, and optimize modern web applications, collaborating with product, design, backend, and cross-functional partners to deliver responsive, scalable, high-performance user interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize modern web application user interfaces
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and other teams
• Create responsive, scalable, high-performance UI experiences
• Integrate with backend services via RESTful APIs
• Improve frontend performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
• Use state management and modern tooling to deliver reliable features

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience building modern web apps with React, Next.js, Angular, Vue.js, or similar frameworks
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and modern UI practices
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs with backend services
• Familiarity with state management libraries: Redux, Zustand, MobX, or Context API
• Experience with Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with build tools like Vite, Webpack, or Rollup
• Familiarity with SSR/SSG (e.g., Next.js)
• Experience with UI libraries such as Material UI, Ant Design, Chakra UI, or Tailwind CSS
• Testing experience with Jest, Cypress, Playwright, or React Testing Library
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Interest in AI-powered UIs and web performance optimization

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $160,000 – $260,000 (depending on experience)
