Frontend Developer

Role Overview

Frontend-focused Full Stack Developer (Headless CMS) for a long-term remote contract. You will support a large-scale redesign and enhancements of customer-facing websites for a leading gaming and hospitality organization, using a modern stack after migrating from Sitecore.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance responsive, high-quality web experiences with React.js and Next.js
• Create modern UI components using Tailwind CSS
• Implement SSR, SSG, and ISR for performance and SEO
• Partner with design and content teams to deliver experiences for rooms, dining, and guest journeys
• Work with Contentful to manage and structure content models
• Integrate REST/GraphQL APIs into frontend applications (consumption only)
• Support ongoing enhancements following the Sitecore migration
• Contribute to redesign work across multiple branded websites and develop new digital features
• Improve site performance, usability, and accessibility (WCAG)
• Work in a small agile team (3 developers): code reviews, planning, and technical discussions
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in frontend/full-stack web development (frontend-heavy)
• Strong experience with React.js and Next.js
• Headless CMS experience, with Contentful strongly preferred
• Strong responsive, user-facing website development experience
• Proficiency with Tailwind CSS
• Experience consuming REST APIs and/or GraphQL
• Knowledge of web performance optimization, SEO best practices, and WCAG accessibility
• Comfortable with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving Agile team

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with Contentful
• Experience migrating from Sitecore (or similar CMS)
• Experience supporting hospitality, ecommerce, or customer-facing platforms
• Familiarity with cloud hosting platforms (Vercel, Netlify, AWS, etc.)
• TypeScript experience
• Exposure to media/CDN tools like Cloudinary
