About the role

Role Overview

Senior Frontend Developer for building custom frontend solutions for high-quality e-commerce experiences. The position is remote and supports continuous improvements to engineering workflows across both client projects and internally.

Responsibilities

Develop custom frontend solutions for exceptional online shops, contributing your own ideas for modern web design
Work with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as Vue (Nuxt), React (Next.js), or Angular
Support backend, project managers, and designers across the full project lifecycle
Contribute to continuous process improvements (e.g., Git workflow, Continuous Integration/CI)

Requirements

Completed degree or vocational training in an IT-related field
Strong experience with HTML/CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and at least one modern JS library/framework (React, Angular, Vue, or similar)
Familiarity with Agile development approaches
Clean Code practices and experience with TDD
Solution-oriented, structured, engaged, and communicative working style

Nice to Have

Experience with Web Components
Responsive Design experience
Familiarity with Microservices, REST APIs, and CI/CD
E-commerce experience, ideally with Shopware
Ability to work on complex tasks as a team and share knowledge
