Frontend Developer - Remote

Role Overview

Contract, part-time Frontend Engineer for a remote-first environment. You’ll build scalable, user-friendly web applications and collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality experiences.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable web interfaces using JavaScript and TypeScript
• Collaborate with design, product, and backend teams to deliver solutions
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize for speed and scalability
• Apply frontend best practices, perform code reviews, and support continuous integration
• Translate complex requirements into clean, reusable UI components
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications for performance and UX
• Communicate clearly and proactively to support remote team culture

Requirements

• Expert proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks
• Proven ability to deliver production-ready web applications
• Strong maintainable coding skills and adherence to industry standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication for effective remote collaboration
• Ability to work autonomously and align with team goals
• Strong debugging/troubleshooting skills for complex frontend issues

Nice to Have

• Experience building accessible and responsive web applications
